Parking in Montepulciano
Montepulciano is located on top of a hill: from the bottom to the top, you can walk through its historical streets and alleys, which are inside a controlled traffic zone. There are several parking spaces outside the historical town, and most of them are free: you can park your car in one of these facilities and walk a short distance to get in the heart of Montepulciano.
Here are some free parking areas:
- Piazza Sant’Agnese – time parking – (P3)
- Via delle Lettere (P4)
- Piazza Pietro Nenni (P5) – except on wednesday for the weekly market
- Porta delle Farine (P7)
- Via dei Filosofi (P8)
- Via San Donato (P9)

For Buses and RV/Campers: you can park in equipped area in piazza Pietro Nenni, next to the bus and firefighters stations (except on wednesday for the weekly market).
